Pricing methodology
The calculator uses the lowest public tier on each side that meets your inputs. If your inputs cross the Growth ceiling on Profound (more than 3 platforms, 100 prompts, or 3 seats), the calculator returns Enterprise as a custom quote. It does not compute savings for Enterprise configurations because Profound does not publish a fixed price to compare.
Cost-per-prompt divides the published monthly price by the prompts included in the tier. It is the cleanest apples-to-apples lens because both products publish prompt quotas. We intentionally use price-per-unique-tracked-prompt, not price-per-AI-response; Profound also publishes response allowances for Starter and Growth, so response-level unit economics are lower than prompt-level math.

The calculator divides the official monthly-equivalent price by the unique prompts included in that tier. Starter is $99 / 50 = $1.98 per unique tracked prompt; Growth is $399 / 100 = $3.99; Trakkr Growth is $100 / 50 = $2.00. Profound bills Starter and Growth yearly, so this is normalized monthly math, not a month-to-month commitment or price per AI response.
